BWA Yachting Announces Organisational Changes

 

Monaco (BWA Yachting) - BWA Yachting, the global luxury yacht service provider, has a new chief executive officer at the helm, after it was announced that current CEO, Stefano Tositti, is leaving.

As the result of a leadership reorganisation, the board of directors has appointed Paschalis Patsiokas as interim chief executive officer, starting immediately. Patsiokas replaces Stefano Tositti, an experienced and committed entrepreneur in the shipping and yachting fields.

Nautitech 47 Power - Bavaria Catamarans’ Luxury Motor Yacht on two Hulls

 

Giebelstadt (Bavaria) - The concept and engineering phases have been completed, and now the development of the Nautitech 47 Power is entering a new phase. In Bavaria Catamarans’ shipyard in Rochefort, France, construction is soon to begin on the catamaran, which is 14 metres long and travels at speeds of up 22 knots. The Nautitech 47 Power will be on display at trade fairs at the beginning of 2018.

The clear lines and dynamic design of the Nautitech 47 Power reveal the powerful elegance of this power catamaran. With a top speed of 22 knots, this catamaran doesn’t just have powerful acceleration, its cruising range of 1000 miles at a speed of nearly 9 knots is also testimony to its endurance. Bellcraft pilot boat powered by Volvo Penta IPS is welcomed in Sicily

Messina (Volvo Penta) - The busy Strait of Messina which separates the island of Sicily from the Italian mainland is now home to a new pilot boat, manufactured by Bellcraft and powered by Volvo Penta’s Inboard Performance System (IPS).

The Bellcraft Work 12, commissioned by the Guild of Messina Strait Pilots, was officially welcomed in Sicily at the begin of March. The pilot boat, powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS450 and matched to two six-liter engines, will flank up to 13,000 ships per year in the busy sea channel.
Volvo Penta’s innovative IPS was selected for installation in the boat due to its excellent performance capabilities and durability.

Lürssen launched project Sasha

Bremerhaven (Lürssen) - Lürssen is proud to announce the successful launching of project Sasha on the 10th of April 2017. Her delivery is planned for later in the summer.

Lürssen launched project Thunder

 

Bremerhaven (Lürssen) - On Monday April 3rd Lürssen launched project Thunder - a 120 m plus yacht, designed by Espen Oeino. She launched from the floating dock 24 months after her keel was laid in 2015.

Thunder, project name derived from Leigong, a mythical god in Asian culture, will be delivered towards the end of 2018 and is expected to cruise mostly in Asian waters.

The traditionally styled interior will be installed in the coming months and the yacht will undergo extensive sea trials thereafter as is the norm.
